Update and Haul

A week ago I went to the Philippines and Hong Kong. Christmas in these Asian countries just feel more like Christmas because of the ways they decorate their shopping centres and tourist attractions. I will break my trip into several posts just to keep the posts short and sweet. For the first post about my holidays I will do a beauty haul. I got everything from SaSa, Bonjour or Colourmix. These are all beauty stockists in Hong Kong with products arranging from drug store brands to high end brands. I found that some SaSas will stock a certain brand while some others didn't.
I got mix of nail polish, a Kiss Me eyelash serum, Shiseido Tsubaki hair treatment waters (really love using theses), mixed eyeliners, Kanebo KATE eyeshadow palettes, hair masks from Kao ESSENTIAL, mascara, BB cream, MAC lipstick (in Russian Red and Creme D Nude), Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek in the orange shade, sunscreen, a box of My Beauty Diary face masks and a ZA two way face palette. Just stocking up on my favourite items and trying some new items that I can't get/overpriced online or not available in Australia.

The Hello Kitty nail polish is recommended for gradient nails and the Marcia and sasatinnie polish were 2 for $10 HKD.

I love the ESSENTIAL hair masks, I'm using the orange packaged one now but I prefer the Nuance Airy line. I use Tsubaki water to maintain the moisture levels in my hair.

KATE palettes, the pigmentation in these are really good! I will do a detailed review on these soon and for some other product I've bought.

Hope everyone is beating the Christmas rush and buying their presents early! Mine is all bought and wrapped. Hate finding car park space during these times.

Bonjour Haul

It looks like I'm always hauling...trust me I hardly go physical shopping. I LOVE online shopping ^_^
My package came in the mail from BonjourHK. It's like SaSa in Hong Kong but most of their prices online are cheaper =] but the major downside to shopping with BonjourHK is that free shipping only applies if you spend over $200 US!! So usually I wait for the products I need to accumulate so I can get free shipping. I hate shipping costs =(
I got all this. I needed new SK-II facial treatment essence and I was running out but didn't want to pay local price...I think for the 215mL in Australia it is over $200AUD!! But on Bonjour it was $US103. The Australian dollar is currently strong and almost matches the US so buying online and buying in bulk is cheaper =] SaSa was a bit more expensive but now it's on sale for $US96!! FML...oh well they don't stock the limited edition My Beauty Diary masks or Shu Uemura lash curlers.

Clockwise from left: HadaLabo Tamagohada cleanser, HadaLabo Gokujyun cleanser, Shu Uemura Lash Curlers, SK-II facial treatment essence and Kose Cosmagic Blusher in 02 Peach Pink

New My beauty Diary Masks!! =]
Top Row: Platinum + Pearl Lift Stretch Mask, French White Lily Mask, Vienna Black Tulip Mask, Formosa White Phalaennopis Mask
Bottom Row: Gold + Marine Collagen Mask, Peruvian Sunflower Mask, Japanese Hydrangea Mask

The flower My Beauty Diary Masks are Limited Edition released to celebrate the Taipei International Flora Expo.

Will have more info and reviews on future posts ^_~

First Jill Stuart Blush and My Beauty Diary Blotting Paper

Today I got my first Jill Stuart Blush, Yays!! ^_^ I know they have been out for a while but I think I'll do a little review. I got colour 09 Little Bouquet. Looks like a coral-ish colour to me. The packaging is just lovely - I'm a packaging sucker =P

I got mine for $41 USD from Cosme-De. Normally they are $46 there but I took the $5 registration offer. Also shipping on any order is free!! Also I got the My Beauty Diary Oil Control Diary (facial blotting paper) for free as my purchase was over $30USD. Also the Australian Dollar is really strong now =] so all up my order was $41USD or $42AUD which is a heaps good price as NARS blushes here are roughly $65AUD.
Simply love the embossed light pink box
Very Princess-y
Coral-ly Peachy Pinky?
The top left shade has fine silver shimmers
I love the semi-matte-ish finish
Swatches - from top left hand corner, anti-clockwise on my skin (sorry if swatched badly - have yet to master this)
Swatches - from top left hand corner, anti-clockwise on tissue

I really love this blush, I can use it without the top left hand corner colour to achieve a matte finish.
Pros:The smell is just lovely
cute packaging  ^_~
good pigmentation
detachable blush brush
blush brush is soft

Cons: Expensive
Not really much product - smaller than I expected
Hard to test outside of Japan, Hong Kong, Korea
Prices vary so much depending on where you get it from
I want more! Lol

I Also got the My Beauty Diary Oil Control Diary/Facial Absorbent Paper for free with my order =]
So Cute - Looks like a real diary
Very Handy - However I think this is a bit too big for my preference.

Hope everyone is doing fine
I have a friend coming back from Japan and I asked him to get me a whole tonne of Canmake stuff =] Can't wait to try them all. Yay! =D

Also Don't forget to enter my Giveaway

My Beauty Diary Pearl Powder Mask Experience

I love using most of the My Beauty Diary face masks. They're affordable for their quality. I got mine for $9.70 a box from a large beauty site comparable to SaSa.

I was using the Pearl Powder Mask last night. This is the second time I've used this one but this time the experience wasn't that great. My face burnt for the first 5 minutes =( ouch. However it did do some of its claims which are softening, whitening and nourishing. It's good for dull or damaged skin.

Pros: Whitens/Brightens
Slightly softer skin (not too sure because I always use SK-II facial treatment essence which keeps my skin soft and plump)

Cons: Burning sensation in the beginning.
So many varied pricing online

Did anyone else get the burning sensation with this mask? I know for the Apple Polyphenol one some girls have had the burning feeling when using that mask, which I did too =(
